Besides our regular sponsors see FACTSnet Sponsor Index we had a Community Spirit Grant from the Alberta Government.
Through this grant we were able to expand our Summer Program, which included writing an
historical fiction book (with suggestions on how it could be used in the
Alberta k-12 curriculum) in both French and English and developing new
online network resources. We were able to travel and have meetings with
several people as we seek to do research and get more participation in
FACTSnet. We were also able to cover some of our administrative
expenses. In summary, the grant helped us do more than we had been able
to do before.
